Angelina Jolie Is a Gender-Studies Professor Now
In addition to being an actress, director, UNHCR special envoy, super-mom, menopause spokeswoman, and maker of an expressively fruit-forward rosé, Angelina Jolie is adding college professor to her résumé.
Starting in 2017, Jolie will serve as a visiting professor for a new master's class on women, peace, and security at the London School of Economics, alongside former British foreign secretary William Hague.

So it might be best if applicants discover before, rather than after they’ve signed up, that the 2014 summit which constitutes the main, Hague-Jolie claim to in-practice expertise, cost £5.2m: five times more, the Observer reported, than the entire confirmed budget the UK dedicated to tackling rape in war zones the following year.
There are plenty of celebrity activists for various causes. Jolie is no more qualified to be a visiting professor on women, peace and security than a celebrity environmentalist is qualified to teach environmental science. But obviously teaching is not the point here.
Angelina Jolie took night classes at NYU. It doesn't look like she has a degree in anything. But she's concerned about things. Very concerned.
And on today's campus, being concerned matters more than qualifications, skills or knowing anything.
