Colin Powell: Hillary's People Trying to "Pin It On Me"

Hillary's best excuse for her illegal email use is to try to pin it on a black man? That seems kind of racist to me.

When asked by the FBI about her email use at the State Department, Clinton reportedly told investigators that former Secretary of State Powell had advised her to use a personal email account at a private dinner.

But Powell, who had said last week in a statement that he had no recollection of the conversation, told Page Six at Saturday’s Apollo in the Hamptons event, “The truth is she was using it (her personal email) for a year before I sent her a memo telling her what I did [during my term as Secretary of State].

“Her people have been trying to pin it on me.”

When asked why Clinton’s team were attempting to blame him, he responded, “Why do you think?”

Despite appearing angered by the situation, he added, “It doesn’t bother me. It’s okay, I’m free.”

Hillary's bizarre compulsive lying habits lead her to not just tell a lie, but a lie that creates an even bigger problem than the one she was trying to solve.

Why drag Colin Powell into this? Not only is Hillary's story about him advising her to use private email not very plausible, but it's also irrelevant in every sense of the word. Claiming that someone else told you to do something does not in any way excuse your actions. Especially if the person is not your superior.

Why drag Powell into this? It's senseless unless you understand that Hillary Clinton has a self-destructive streak and that her terrible lies are a symptom of this. The only thing she accomplished was to take a guy who had switched to her team, potentially, and then blame him for your email use, forcing him to come forward and attack you.

When that guy is also a prominent black figure, then your plan is just stupid and self-destructive.
