Man Shot at Memorial for Victims of Gun Violence

Gun violence is everywhere. The only way to address it is with "sentencing reform" that sets criminals free and gun control reform that bans guns. The guns that shoot people of their own accord. Then when a whole bunch of people are killed, we'll have another memorial to the victims of inanimate gun violence who were rendered further inanimate by it.

A man who was attending a memorial for victims of gun violence was fatally shot at a Brooklyn park early Sunday, authorities and witnesses said.

Daquan Spencer, 30, was at the event inside Scarangella Park near Stillwell Ave. and Avenue V when someone started shooting around 1:30 a.m.

The man was struck multiple times, including in the head and torso, cops said. He died at Coney Island Hospital.

Witnesses said Spencer was attending a candlelight memorial in remembrance of several people who died from gun violence — all of whom were under the age of 27.

Why were these people dying of gun violence and who was shooting them? Was it the guns? Or was it perhaps drug dealers. You know, the drug dealers who would be the chief beneficiaries of sentencing reform? Ask no questions. Just hold another memorial and hope no one gets shot at this one by the packs of roving guns.
