Hillary Clinton has strictly two functional modes. Lies and crazy lies.
Considering her opposition to freedom in general and religious freedom in particular, her appeal to Mormon voters in a Deseret News editorial had to double down on the crazy lies. Like the time she protected Coptic Christians in Egypt by aiding the Muslim Brotherhood takeover of Egypt leading to mass Muslim assaults and church burnings.
"I’ve been fighting to defend religious freedom for years. As secretary of state, I made it a cornerstone of our foreign policy to protect the rights of religious minorities around the world — from Coptic Christians in Egypt to Buddhists in Tibet," Hillary claims.
What has Hillary done for Buddhists in Tibet? Probably best not to ask. But if we need any reminders of what she did to Coptic Christians in Egypt, here's a little reminder of what Anne Patterson, State's local backer of the Brotherhood was doing.
As Egyptians of all factions prepare to demonstrate in mass against the Muslim Brotherhood and President Morsi’s rule on June 30, the latter has been trying to reduce their numbers, which some predict will be in the millions and eclipse the Tahrir protests that earlier ousted Mubarak. Accordingly, among other influential Egyptians, Morsi recently called on Coptic Christian Pope Tawadros II to urge his flock, Egypt’s millions of Christians, not to join the June 30 protests.
While that may be expected, more troubling is that the U.S. ambassador to Egypt is also trying to prevent Egyptians from protesting—including the Copts. The June 18 edition of Sadi al-Balad reports that lawyer Ramses Naggar, the Coptic Church’s legal counsel, said that during Patterson’s June 17 meeting with Pope Tawadros, she “asked him to urge the Copts not to participate” in the demonstrations against Morsi and the Brotherhood.
The Pope politely informed her that his spiritual authority over the Copts does not extend to political matters.
Despite Muslim Brotherhood terror against Coptic Christians, Patterson and State continued backing the Brotherhood to the hilt.
Last week, for example, El Fagr reported that, during their most recent phone conversation, Patterson demanded that Egypt’s recently appointed Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces, General Abdul Fatah al-Sisi, release all Muslim Brotherhood members currently being held for questioning: “And when Sisi rejected this order, the American ambassador began threatening him that Egypt will turn into another Syria and live through a civil war
Hillary Clinton backed Egypt's equivalent of the Nazis and then claimed to be protecting religious minorities. Here's what Hillary's Brotherhood bands did to Coptic Christians.
A memo posted on the Facebook page of a local office of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party obtained by the Investigative Project on Terrorism shows a clear call to incitement against Egypt's Coptic Christian population, giving its blessing to the burning of churches.
Over 40 Coptic churches have been burned by Muslim Brotherhood supporters since the Egyptian police cleared demonstrators protesting the overthrow of former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi on Tuesday.
Hillary hard at work, protecting Coptic Christians. Then Hillary claims that,
"As Americans, we hold fast to the belief that everyone has the right to worship however he or she sees fit."
Unless they don't believe in gay marriage. Or abortion. Or birth control. Or some other dogma of the cult of the left.
Trump’s Muslim ban would undo centuries of American tradition and values. To this day, I wonder if he even understands the implications of his proposal. This policy would literally undo what made America great in the first place.
Muslims apparently made America great. Just like they made Egypt great.
