The routine "security review" into Hillary Clinton's rogue email operation which compromised national security in a bid to avoid public oversight climaxed with a totally voluntary 3.5 hour interview with the FBI.
Because you know how eager candidates on the campaign trail are to volunteer to spend a huge chunk of their working day talking to federal agents... voluntarily.
Just to remind us of why this all happened, Hillary Clinton went on Meet the Press and recited the same old tired lies about never having sent classified information And there's even an "out of respect" excuse.
“Secretary Clinton gave a voluntary interview this morning about her email arrangements while she was Secretary. She is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion. Out of respect for the investigative process, she will not comment further on her interview.”
This sounds like one of those things politicians being investigated for actual criminal charges say. Right down to the "respect for the process" which prevents Hillary Clinton from commenting on the investigation against her... though not on Meet the Press.
