On the latest phase of his tragedy exploitation tour, Obama insisted that the Bill of Rights should be null and void because "Why is it they think our liberty requires these repeated tragedies? That’s not the meaning of liberty.”
Now our liberty requires...
1. Mass unrestricted Muslim immigration
2. The right of assorted anti-American activists, left-wing and Muslim, to incite violence against the country
3. The full and complete protection of the rights of terrorists
These are core principles and beliefs of the left. Violating any of them, even by torturing a foreign terrorist in a ticking time bomb scenario or ending mass Muslim migration to stop terror, is utterly unacceptable, no matter how many tragedies would be averted. That's the price we pay.
But the Bill of Rights is apparently an unacceptable price to pay.
