Why the Dem Supreme Court Strategy Depends on Abortion

Once upon a time we had an individualistic media. Now we have a collective propaganda machine no different than China, Russia or North Korea. And that's convenient because it telegraphs its political agenda in every story which, as I was discussing on the radio early today, is remarkably consistent across the media spectrum.

And by now you would have to be blind and deaf not to realize that the Dem strategy to stop Trump's Supreme Court pick will be abortion, abortion and more abortion. It's why some conservatives are urging Trump to pick a female candidate. Not that doing so will stop the "Women will die" campaign that the Dems intend to unleash.

Why abortion? It's a can't fail.

Even if the campaign doesn't work, the Dems will once again have mobilized one of the craziest parts of their base while turning up the outrage to 11. Money will flow. Voter turnout for the midterms will pick up. And the conversation will shift to the one topic that the left is beating to death this week.

One week, it's "Everyone will die without gun control", next week it's "The children will die because of border control" and now it'll be, "This Supreme Court pick will kill women."

Dems have rotated through a lot of issues. They could launch their anti-court pick campaign around gun control, Muslim terrorists having open access to America, gay marriage or dozens of other issues, but they're going for the broad side of the barn approach for donors and the pink hat brigade. Will it pay off? Financially of course it will. Turnout? Probably.

There have been plenty of jokes about the Dem plan to stop Trump's pick. We know what the real plan is. But the public plan's first priority is to run a campaign operation, fundraise, collect addresses and push helpless outrage.
