Hillary Protege: Gov Dept Hillary Ran Passed Steele Dossier to FBI

The admissions that Obama and Hillary people make are often worse than the accusations that Republicans throw at them. Here's another case in point.

Former State Department official Victoria Nuland told CBS News'"Face the Nation" that the dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele was brought to the State Department's attention in July of 2016, which then shared the information with the FBI. Nuland's new details concerning the dossier comes on the heels of the release of a newly declassified memo crafted by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., Rep Trey Gowdy, R-South Carolina, and two staff investigators.

"He [Steele] passed two to four pages of short points of what he was finding, and our immediate reaction to that was, 'This is not in our purview,'" said Nuland, who served as assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs during the Obama administration. "'This needs to go to the FBI, if there is any concern here that one candidate or the election as a whole might be influenced by the Russian federation. That's something for the FBI to investigate.'"

Victoria Nuland is a Hillary protege. Hillary Clinton had been the former Secretary of State and she had seeded her allies throughout the State Department.

The Steele dossier was a project of the Clinton campaign.

So what Vicky is telling us, is that the Clinton campaign's opposition research was passed on by one of her people to the State Department which she used to run, which then passed it to the FBI.

Could there have been more dirty Clinton fingerprints on it than we already know there are. Probably, but this is bad enough. It means that the Clinton campaign likely employed its own contacts in the State Department to embed this opposition research into the government. The State Department helped launder a Clinton campaign work product and turn it into an investigation.

Again, this is much worse than Watergate because of the ways that the Obama-Clinton regime abused government power to target its political enemies.

And for those who want to connect a few more dots, Nuland was Strobe Talbott's Chief of Staff under Bill Clinton. A memo that made the same allegations as the Steele dossier (and may have been the basis for it) was written by Cody Shearer, one of Bill Clinton's plumbers, who is also Strobe Talbott's brother-in-law.
