Glenn Greenwald and the Intercept were made for each other. One is a terrorist supporter and the other is a pro-terror site funded by a Persian billionaire that spreads Iranian and Qatari propaganda.
Glenn Greenwald had criticized the inclusion of Hamas and Hezbollah on the terror list and described them as being “dedicated to protecting their citizens against the State of Israel.” He complained, “and yet it is criminal in the United States to do anything that is deemed to be material support for Hamas and Hezbollah."
Greenwald had also spoken of “the role Judaism plays in the decades-long oppression by the Israelis of Palestinians.”
Despite this, people who should know better, continue to celebrate Greenwald, including Lee Smith, whose recent column suggesting that Glenn Greenwald deserves a Pulitzer falls somewhere between the surreal and the obscene. Smith might as well have suggested handing a Peabody to Al Manar.
And just to remind some of his newest fans what he is, Greenwald has yet another breathless piece at The Intercept about how Facebook is doing the bidding of the Zionist conspiracy.
IN SEPTEMBER OF LAST YEAR, we noted that Facebook representatives were meeting with the Israeli Government to determine which Facebook accounts of Palestinians should be deleted on the ground that they constitute “incitement.”
Glenn Greenwald puts "incitement" in quotation marks. At no point in time does he list any of the incitement that the Israeli government complains about. For obvious reasons. Greenwald is a hack who spread smears while refusing to even discuss the real issue.
Last March, Facebook briefly shut down the Facebook page of the political party, Fatah, followed by millions, “because of an old photo posted of former leader Yasser Arafat holding a rifle.”
Glenn Greenwald links to Al Jazeera's topics for Arafat rather than an actual story about the topic. Because he's a terrorist propagandist and a hack.
Here are some examples, courtesy of Palestinian Media Watch, of what Fatah's Facebook page contains.
Fatah Facebook post calls for violence with image of hand clutching rifle: "Strap on your weapon"
Posted text: Strap on your weapon over your wound, and tomorrow you will awaken to a morning of freedom #Rage_for_Jerusalem #Rage_for_Al-Aqsa_Mosque #Jerusalem_our_capital #Jerusalem_the_capital_of_Palestine #HandsOffAlQuds”
That's some of Glenn Greenwald's"incitement".
Fatah Facebook: Blood of terrorist who murdered Israeli "will not be in vain" as "the ground [will] sprout a thousand others"
Picture posted on the official Fatah Facebook page: The picture shows a poster being held with a picture of US President Donald Trump on it, with a red x over his face, and the following English text written over his face and the x: "Jewish Shill"
Fatah official visits family of imprisoned terrorist who beat an Israeli civilian to death
Fatah Facebook glorifies arch-terrorist Abu Jihad, killer of 125: “The first bullet and the first stone”
Fatah Facebook honors terrorist who stabbed 4 in a “stabbing operation”
Again... "incitement."
But let's get back to Glenn Greenwald and all the Pulitzers he deserves.
In the weeks following those Facebook/Israel meetings, reported The Independent, “the activist collective Palestinian Information Centre reported that at least 10 of their administrators’ accounts for their Arabic and English Facebook pages – followed by more than two million people – have been suspended, seven of them permanently, which they say is a result of new measures put in place in the wake of Facebook’s meeting with Israel.”
Here's what's on PIC's Facebook now.
The woman pictured is Leila Khaled, a PFLP terrorist who participated in hijacking civilian airplanes.
Glenn Greenwald can simply be honest and admit that he supports these messages. But instead of revealing what Fatah or PIC post on social media, he plays up a Zionist Facebook censorship conspiracy without ever being honest about what's being censored.
