An Uber driver is in the Gwinnett County jail after he was arrested and charged with raping a 16-year-old girl.
Police said the attack happened early Monday morning somewhere along South Norcross Tucker Road in between Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Old Norcross Tucker Road.
Abdoulie Jagne of College Park was arrested Thursday.
Police said the 16-year-old told investigators she’d been at a local bar Sunday night drinking with friends. One of the girl’s friends called her an Uber and police said Jagne picked her up and then raped her.
