Not long ago, Seattle's left-wing radical boss, Ed Murray, was trying to lead the war against President Trump. Seattle had created "safe spaces" for shooting up heroin. It was a sanctuary city for illegal aliens.
And Murray was determined to keep it that way.
Then allegations of sexual abuse resurfaced. Murray furiously denied them, but then announced that he wouldn't run for another term.
In the lawsuit filed in King County Superior Court, a 46-year-old man, identified only by the initials, D.H., said Murray “raped and molested him” over several years, beginning in 1986 - when he was 15 and addicted to crack cocaine, and when Murray was in his early 30s.
The newspaper also reported that two other men said they knew Murray when they lived in a Portland, Oregon, center for troubled children. Jeff Simpson and Lloyd Anderson accused Murray of abusing them in the 1980s and paying them for sex and said they’d be willing to testify about it, the Times said.
Murray blamed "right-wing anti-gay" forces for his problems.
“The two older accusations were promoted by extreme right-wing anti-gay activists in the midst of the marriage equality campaign, and were thoroughly investigated and dismissed by both law enforcement authorities and the media,” the statement said.

An Oregon child-welfare investigator concluded that Ed Murray sexually abused his foster son in the early 1980s, leading state officials to assert that “under no circumstances should Mr. Murray be certified” as a foster parent in the future, according to public records obtained by The Seattle Times.
The investigation by Oregon Child Protective Services (CPS) of Jeff Simpson’s allegations determined them to be valid — meaning the agency believed Murray sexually abused Simpson, the records show.
“In the professional judgement of this caseworker who has interviewed numerous children of all ages and of all levels of emotional disturbance regarding sexual abuse, Jeff Simpson has been sexually abused by … Edward Murray,” CPS caseworker Judy Butler wrote in the May 1984 assessment.
And despite all this, Murray was able to run a major city. He got by, just like Jim Jones, with a little help from his political friends.
Murray, 62, a longtime Democratic state lawmaker and gay civil-rights leader, has attacked the credibility of Simpson and other men who say he sexual abused them decades ago. Murray has suggested the claims are politically motivated.
Between Bob Filner and Murray, left-wing West Coast mayors really seem to have a sexual abuse problem.
Simpson is one of four men who have publicly accused Murray of sexual abuse decades ago when they were teenagers. Heckard claimed Murray started paying him for sex in 1986, when Heckard was a drug-addicted 15-year-old. Lloyd Anderson and Lavon Jones also separately allege Murray paid them for sex as teenagers.
Meanwhile Murray is still listed as one of the mayors standing with Planned Parenthood on its own site.
