The media has responded to President Trump's terror travel ban by finding sympathetic cases to weep and rage over.
Enter Dr. Mohsen Dehnavi.
Iranian cancer researcher not allowed back into US - The Boston Globe
An Iranian cancer researcher traveling to Massachusetts to work at Boston Children’s Hospital was detained Tuesday at Logan International Airport along with his wife and children for several hours before being sent back.
The detention of Dr. Mohsen Dehnavi, who holds a visiting work visa, comes two weeks after the Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration could partially enforce an executive order banning people from six Muslim-majority countries, including Iran, from entering the United States. But US Customs and Border Protection said that the detention and return were unrelated to the order.

You get the idea.
Immigration assured the media that it had nothing to do with the travel ban, but that there were issues with the bad doctor. The media and migration allies chose to ignore that.
“Based on what we know, it's not travel-ban related. It's probably something much more stupid than that,” said Susan Church, chair of the New England chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
“The rules say if you have a valid visa you have to be let in,” she told Reuters.
Something stupid turned out to be... membership in a Jihadist group. As the Boston Herald's Adriana Cohen reveals.
Dehnavi was a leader in the student branch of the Basij, a volunteer paramilitary group linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard. The AP got it straight from Iranian TV: “TV footage showed that Dehnavi was the same man who was featured in a years-old report by the semi-official Fars news agency on his being named the head of the student branch of the Basij at Iran’s Sharif University in September 2007. The Basij is a volunteer militia that is linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.”
The Guard is Iran's central hub for domestic and international terror. It's ISIS and Al Qaeda wrapped up into one. When Shiite terror happens, there's usually an IRGC link.
The Basij played a key role in the suppression of democracy protesters in Iran during the Obama regime. Members of the terror allied group have also operated abroad.
These are the creatures that the media has rushed to defend.
Amateur video shows members of the Basij, wearing plain shirts and pants and wielding clubs and hoses, dispersing protesters and beating a handful of Iranians at a time.
"The Basij militia forces tried to break up the demonstrations using batons, electric shock and water cannons," a student in Tehran, whose name was withheld for his safety, told CNN's Don Lemon on Sunday. The student said he was injured at a protest by the feared militia.
This is what the media and pro-migration activists now support.
There was every reason to ban a ranking figure in a Jihadist organization from entering this country.
