"One Down, 216 to Go": Post-Shooting Email to Republican Congresswoman

We need to have a national dialogue about left-wing extremism.

What happened today was not the lone act of an unhinged gunman, but the "Resistance" terrorism that the left and their Democrat useful idiots have been championing. The left is a terrorist organization. And its media hate machine's goal has been to churn out the likes of James T. Hodgkinson, the Bernie Sanders volunteer and Elizabeth Warren supporter, who tried to murder Republican members of Congress.

And the machine is still going.

The office of Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.) received a threatening email with the subject line “One down, 216 to go…,” shortly after a shooter opened fire on GOP lawmakers who were at a congressional baseball practice, according to her office.

The person who sent the email then wrote in the body of the email, "Did you NOT expect this?"

None of this has been happening in a vacuum.

The FBI arrested a TUSD employee on suspicion of threatening U.S. Rep. Martha McSally.

FBI agents arrested Steve Martan, 58, in connection with three messages left on the congressional office voicemail on May 2 and May 10, according to a criminal complaint filed May 12 in U.S. District Court in Tucson. Martan is a campus monitor at Miles Exploratory Learning Center in the Tucson Unified School District. He was placed on home assignment and told not to come into work as the district investigates the allegations.

The voicemails contained threats to McSally, including that she should "be careful" when she returns to Tucson and that her days "were numbered." He threatened to shoot her in one of the expletive-filled messages.

This has been escalating for a while.

A Tennessee woman is facing a felony charge after allegedly chasing down a car carrying Rep. David Kustoff (R-Tenn.) on Monday after a town hall event.

Wendi Wright, who lives in Kustoff's district, is accused of chasing a car carrying Kustoff and an aide along the highway after leaving a town hall event at the University of Tennessee at Martin, according to WBBJ West Tennessee.

She is being charged with a reckless endangerment felony.

Kustoff’s car then pulled over into a driveway, and Wright allegedly left her vehicle to scream and hit the windows of the car.

This has been the campaign of hate that the left has set off. Now it finally paid off with the first major act of Resistance terror.

"This is how we're going to kill your wife."

That's the message Rep. Tom Garrett (R-Va.) said he received in a series of recent threats that targeted him, his family and even, at one point, his dog. And it's the reason, he said, that his town hall here in this sleepy Virginia community on Tuesday night was ringed by law enforcement.

We need to have a national conversation about the left's hate machine and its media allies. And its linkages to left-wing terror.
