Yesterday the left had one of its scheduled freakouts over Kellyanne Conway. It was then pointed out that Obama had a nasty habit of putting his own feet on the desk in the Oval Office. Here's where former MSNBC host Toure comes in.
Putting your shoes on your desk is not at all like putting your shoes on a couch, especially someone else’s. Not in the same ballpark. https://t.co/rqXcL6V1jI

It's not Obama's desk. It belongs to the American people.
Don't you understand? There's a world of difference between putting your feet on a couch and a desk. We've now hit Seinfeldian levels of nuanced parsing. This could even be a whole Seinfeld routine.
But underneath is the lurking truth that the left's objections are worthless nonsense. It's easy enough to poke hypocritical holes in its objections leaving it to legislate bizarre double standards in which there is a profound difference between putting your feet on a couch and a desk.
