Bullying their way to ideological conformity is second nature for the left. In the past few months there have been constant ideological freakouts aimed at various companies. Lefties upset over Trump burned New Balance shoes. And then more recently went after L.L. Bean. Now they launched a hate Jihad at Uber for picking up passengers at JFK while cabbies launched a Trump protest.
Calls to #DeleteUber were being retweeted by celebs like Lena Dunham who can always get a private driver to pick them up at the airport. It was unclear what the hell the #DeleteUber crowd was expecting people who had just arrived at JFK to do besides take the AirTrain or walk all the way to Manhattan. But being rich and left-wing means never having to thing about people except as outlets for your insane tantrums.
Still, for once, Lena Dunham didn't make it into the most insane tweets. Taraji P. Henson, whose Twitter feed reads like Cher on acid, did.
DELETING @UBER RIGHT THE FUCK NOW!!! #WeThePeople#LoveWILLwin#FuckHate#FuckOppression if you support HATE YO ASS GETS DELETED #BYEBITCHpic.twitter.com/tqGrgWTg7A

On reading that, I think I'm actually being unfair to Cher.
BREAKING: Lyft will donate $1 million to the ACLU to help them fight the #MuslimBan. They just gained so many costumers! #deleteuber
— #NotMyPresident (@France4Hillary) January 29, 2017
Hillary could run for President of France. The left over there seems to can't find a good Socialist to do it. And when you're a Socialist, you don't even have to know how to spell customers.
When you ride with Uber, hate rides with you. #deleteuber.
— Bill McKibben (@billmckibben) January 29, 2017
When you read Bill McKibben, you lose IQ points.
Uber decides to be scabs for Trump on the same day that Lyft donates a grip of money to the ACLU? Pretty clear. #deleteUber
— Johnny Taylor, Jr. (@hipsterocracy) January 29, 2017
By union definitions, Lyft drivers are just as much scabs as Uber drivers.
Halfway to Oakland Int Airport in the back of an Uber is no place to read that the company is run by a scumbag. #DeleteUber

If Rob had true principles, he would dive out of the car window.
#deleteuber doesn't mean you have to go running into the arms of another SV gig economy opportunist. Get a real cab. Or a bus. Or a train.
— Tim Maughan (@timmaughan) January 29, 2017
Or a bike. Or a mule. Load your luggage on a mule and ride it from JFK.
Last night I logged in to #deleteuber. Felt reluctance for a split second. then remembered the Montgomery Bus Boycott & felt ashamed. pic.twitter.com/D9WEtmkz6W
— wikipedia brown (@eveewing) January 29, 2017
That's not the thing you should have felt ashamed over.
Welp, I guess I took my last @Uber ride tonight. I must really have been crazed not to be aware of this madness. Will #deleteuber for @Lyft. https://t.co/ivLtDpxJMA
— Joy Reid (@JoyAnnReid) January 29, 2017
Joy is half right.
#Uber effectively acted as union scabs and fascist collaborators tonight in the name of profit folks. Don't let them forget it. #DeleteUber
— Maryland for $15 (@MDfor15) January 29, 2017
the running dog capitalist yankee dogs of Uber must pay
Uber aren't just scabs, their very existence is leading the charge for the gig economy that is antithetical to unions #deleteUber

Because if the left stands for anything, it's preventing people from earning a living.
That's a failure of both logic and literacy. Well done.I'm not usually one for hashtagtivism, but... #DeleteUber. pic.twitter.com/IEseBIpcCO
