The Jewish holiday of Chanukah this year takes place at the end of December. Obamamanukah, the annual defilement of the holiday at the White House, happened yesterday. This is what last year's abomination of a mockery looked like.
The White House chose Susan Talve to light the Menorah. Talve is a member of the anti-Israel group T'ruah... Susan Talve in which she seemed determined to jam as many leftist talking points as possible in her limited time. Instead of talking about Chanukah, Talve blathered on about getting, "guns off our streets" and to "clean up the fires of toxic nuclear waste".
Talve screeched, "I stand here with my fierce family of clergy and black lives matter activists who took to the streets of Ferguson".
Then, not satisfied with having made a disgrace of the Chanukah ceremony, Susan Talve declared, "I stand here to light these lights to say no the darkness of Islamophobia and Homophobia and Transphobia."
Talve babbled about insuring "justice for Palestinians" and began gleefully chanting, "Ins'Allah, Ins'Allah". Or "Allah Willing".
Because"F___ you Jews" was the real message here.
Sadly Obama and his leftist anti-Jewish trolls won't have Chanukah to kick around anymore. True to form, this year's "Rabbis" were Rachel Isaacs, the first Conservative lesbian clergyperson, and Steven Exler, a graduate of the leftist Yeshivat Chovei Torah, which is a left-wing attempt to do to Orthodox Judaism, what the left had already done to Reform Judaism, turn it into a hollow shell for left-wing causes. And Exler has pieces on the usual left-wing causes like Global Warming. Isaacs ended up citing more Jewish teachings than Exler did.
But the left's death grip on the White House Chanukah events is swiftly passing. Like all evil, it withers and blows away in the wind.
“For those of us who are partisan Democrats, this is not just a sad goodbye to President Obama, but also to the White House Hanukkah parties,” said a Washington activist who had attended many of Obama’s candle lighting receptions. “We’re facing at least four years in the White House invite desert.”
Come on. What about the official Black Lives Matter Chanukah? In which they smash a menorah and then set fire to an Israeli flag.
For Jewish Democrats, the annual gathering will not be the joyful event it has been, as attendees will inevitably reflect on the time of political access and shared ideology that’s coming to an end.
Sorry T'ruah, no more White House invites. Maybe Jill Jacobs can cadge some tickets to the Hamas Hanukkah party in Gaza. Or the ADL one.
