Ruth Bader Ginsburg may be admired in certain circles. Lefties may giggle and call her Notorious RBG. But let her criticize Colin Kaepernick's vile hatred of America, and a popular left-wing Supreme Court justice will be made to apologize to an anti-American thug.
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg made headlines last week when she called Colin Kaepernick’s national anthem protest “dumb and disrespectful.” After some reflection, she wishes she had remained silent on the matter.
According to CNN, the court released a statement in which she apologizes for having spoken out the way she did.
“Some of you have inquired about a book interview in which I was asked how I felt about Colin Kaepernick and other NFL players who refused to stand for the national anthem,” Ginsburg’s statement read. “Barely aware of the incident or its purpose, my comments were inappropriately dismissive and harsh. I should have declined to respond.”
