Even if Hillary wins, she expects to be facing a GOP Congress. And while the latter might bend on many areas, gun control is still a red zone. Which would leave Hillary with the Obama option of ruling by executive order.
During the fundraiser, which was hosted by Clinton friend and donor Amy Rao at her home in Palo Alto, California, a Project Veritas journalist spoke with former Senator Feingold and his donors about gun control. When asked what Hillary Clinton would do about the Second Amendment, Feingold said without hesitation, “Well, there might be an executive order.”
If Obama didn't have too much else on his plate, there might have been a more major move in that direction. But despite grandstanding in the aftermath of every shooting, so far Barack's bark has been louder than his bite. Hillary however is likely to push much harder if, for no other reason, the Clintons seemed far more interested in gun control. And too many other progressive passion projects have been covered by Obama. Gun control is one area that he hasn't had much success with which is why Hillary Clinton would feel that it's a natural fit for her.
Referring to guns in America, Rao herself tells O’Keefe on camera that Hillary wants to ‘shut it down’, saying, “If we can get guns away from everyone in this country, she’ll close the loopholes (to) get rid of assault weapons, she will rid being able to buy you know, unlimited bullets, she’s gonna make all that stop.”
That's the progressive wish list.
