You can always count on the Clintons to be a national embarrassment. While Roger Clinton, Bill's brother, has spent the most time getting in trouble with the law. Ironically he's probably the most law abiding Clinton. Here he is in trouble yet again for a DUI.
Former President Bill Clinton’s half-brother, Roger Clinton, is scheduled to be arraigned Friday on two misdemeanor DUI counts stemming from his June 5 arrest.
Roger Clinton, who is not required to appear in court, was charged July 11 with one misdemeanor count each of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher, along with an allegation that he refused to submit to a chemical test.
Of course he refused to submit to a test. He's a Clinton.
Roger Clinton pleaded guilty in August 2001 to a misdemeanor count of reckless driving after Hermosa Beach city prosecutors agreed to drop two DUI charges and one count of disturbing the peace against him. He was sentenced then to two years probation, ordered not to drive with any alcohol or drugs in his system and to pay about $1,350 in fines and costs.
Meanwhile Bill and Hillary have successfully stayed out of court despite committing much more serious crimes. Still maybe Roger can look forward to a presidential pardon. Assuming he has the $450,000 that Marc Rich's wife paid Bill Clinton for one.
