Noting he didn't watch Trump's prime-time acceptance speech on Thursday -- "I've got a lot of stuff to do" -- Obama said he read news coverage of the remarks.
Sure. There are golf courses to play through and YouTube vloggers to be interviewed with. He can't waste time watching the acceptance speech of the man who might be his successor.
"This idea that America is somehow on the verge of collapse, this vision of violence and chaos everywhere, doesn't really jibe with the experience of most people," Obama said during a press conference in the White House East Room alongside Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto.
Not unless you look at the polls in which most people no longer have confidence in the future. Or notice the rash of cop killings by #BlackLivesMatter supporters or Islamic terrorists.
No one panic. Everything is just fine.
