In typically cynical fashion, Obama refused to address the racist motives of the Dallas attack or his link to them through his backing for the #BlackLivesMatter terror group, instead blaming inanimate objects for the murder of police officers.
Obama defended concern about "racial disparities in our criminal justice system" while insisting that gun control should be the real focus. "When people are armed with powerful weapons, unfortunately it makes attacks like these more deadly and more tragic. And in the days ahead, we’re going to have to consider those realities as well."
The push for gun control is obnoxious enough during ordinary shootings, but when your political allies murder 5 police officers, defending them while claiming that the answer is to abolish the Bill of Rights is simply obscene.
