Slovakia Oddly Uninterested in "Tens of Thousands of Muslims"

I can't explain this unthinking prejudice. Doesn't Slovakia want to be more like Belgium or France? Think of all the jobs that could be created...

1. Integrating Muslim migrants

2. Providing social welfare to Muslim migrants when they won't integrate

3. Policing Muslim communities for terrorists when they really won't integrate

Anyway Slovakia is being very unreasonable about this.

Slovakia's prime minister says his country is not a suitable place for Muslims to live because they could change centuries-long traditions.

In an interview with the local press agency TASR published on Wednesday, Robert Fico said he does not want to have "tens of thousands of Muslims" in Slovakia.

Mr Fico has previously said his government will not allow Muslims to create "a compact community" in Slovakia and that integrating refugees is impossible.

His country is also a vocal opponent of a compulsory EU plan to redistribute refugees in member states and is suing the EU over it.

Crazy, right? Doesn't Slovakia want to be more like Belgium?

Belgium Arrests Over Fears Of Terror Plot

Police say they found "traces" of a plot to launch a new attack in Belgium and that those detained are suspected of recruiting jihadists for Syria and Libya on behalf of Islamic State.

Or France?

"Normally whether it's cold or warm, whether it's sunny or rainy, there are lots of people here," said Cyrille Semama, owner of a women's clothing store in the neighborhood. "Our shop is in a tourist area, but we don't see many tourists. … It should not be like this," he added, gesturing to the nearly deserted streets.

It's a common story across Paris as the city struggles to recover  six months after "Black Friday"— as the Nov. 13 terror attacks that killed 130 people are called here.

The most visible change here is the strong presence of police and the military around tourist centers and strategic areas, as well as the lack of crowds in certain districts, venues and streets. The patrols help give tourists who do visit a sense of security.

Look what Slovakia is missing out on.
