And they say the United Nations is good for nothing. It's finally taking action on Syria. And putting the blame where it belongs. On Israel.
The UN Human Rights Council resolution pointed out by Hillel Neuer of UN Watch highlights a draft resolution put forward by Pakistan to express deep "concern" at the "suffering of the Syrian citizens in the occupied Syrian Golan due to the systematic and continued violation of their fundamental and human rights by Israel".
Clearly they would be much better off under Assad's rule. Or ISIS.
While the UN hasn't been very helpful on Syria, it can always find new ways to condemn Israel while becoming more of a joke than ever.
The UN’s 45-member Commission on the Status of Women, meeting in its 2017 annual session, singled out Israel as the only country in the world subjected to a condemnatory resolution on women’s rights.
Worse, Saudi Arabia officially joined the CSW later that afternoon, joining Iran as a member.
Iran is locking up women for removing their hijabs. But the UN always knows that the right answer is to condemn Israel.
