This is fantastic news.
And I say that not just as the author of multiple pieces warning about how damaging McMaster was in undermining the fight against Islamic terror, the fight to roll back the Iran nuke sellout, not to mention his protection of Obama holdovers. It may have even been the latest alleged leak from the NSC, that showed McMaster the door, but the momentum had been building for a while.
But Bolton is also a great choice. As much as I would love to see him in action at the UN again, he has an excellent command of the issues. And his appointment shows that the administration is ready to stop listening to the Tillerson/McMaster appeasement crowd, and is ready to come to grips with this country's enemies.
And look at what a bullet we dodged too.
Between Pompeo and Bolton, the White House is starting to put together a foreign policy team that reflects Trump's political platform rather than those of the same old bunch of establishment swamp creatures.
