That's what happens with immigration bills in the Senate. Amnesty, amnesty and amnesty. Amnesty under the guise of economic improvement. Amnesty under the guise of border security. Amnesty under the guise of a bipartisan compromise. Whatever proposal gets moving, it eventually becomes amnesty.
On Fox and Friends, Senator Ted Cruz takes on the latest amnesty proposals and asks a simple question. Why?
Why implement an even bigger amnesty than Obama's in exchange for some "security funding". Why create 1.8 million Democrat voters to turn states like Texas blue? Would it absolutely kill Senate GOPers to put their country, their party and the future first, for once, instead of making the same dirty deals so Walmart can have some more cheap labor and so that the rest of the country turns into California?
Is having a cheap housekeeper so dear and having the full backing of the usual COC types so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?
