The memo that the media has been shrieking would get everyone killed doesn't contain any dangerous classified information that exposes our methods. But it does contain some very damaging information about how the Steele dossier, funded by the Clinton campaign, was used by Obama officials to target a Trump associate.
I'm going to have a roundup, but here's a particularly damning moment.
In September 2016, Steele admitted to Ohr his feelings against then-candidate Trump when Steele said he “was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president.” This clear evidence of Steele’s bias was recorded by Ohr at the time and subsequently in official FBI files—but not reflected in any of the Page FISA applications.
And that's part of the larger pattern, documented by the memo, of treating material from the most partisan sources imaginable, as legitimate.
The Steele dossier never had any credibility. The memo documents Steele's violations of protocol. But this figure who was funded by the Clinton campaign became a pretext for going after President Trump.
