"Bill and Hillary Clinton are Simply Not Welcome in Our Town"

Well there you go. You destroy the livelihood of a bunch of people and they insist on holding a grudge against you. Don't they know how historic the wife of a former president's candidacy is?

Some protesters were escorted from the Logan event after shouting questions at the former president.

Early Sunday, city officials in Logan sent Manchin's staff an email stating they were unwelcome in the town.

"Bill and Hillary Clinton are simply not welcome in our town. Mrs. Clinton's anti-coal messages are the last thing our suffering town needs at this point," the email reads in part.

"The policies that have been championed by people like Mrs. Clinton have all but devastated our fair town, and honestly, enough is enough. We wish them the best in their campaign, however we again state they are not welcome on our city properties. We hope that you will respectfully consider NOT visiting our community."

The Clintons however being the Clintons don't understand the concept of being unwelcome. Or respectful. But Bill still has the "I feel your pain" thing going on.

"I know what you’re going through,” Bill Clinton said at the event in Logan.

He does. He really does. Here's what Bill Clinton has to go through.

Clinton was notoriously blasé about financial matters. “He doesn’t care about money,” the Clinton friend told me. “He doesn’t even have a credit card. When he wants to get something he says, ‘Wow, I love that,’ and whoever he’s with says, ‘Here it is!’

Here's more of Bill Clinton feeling your pain.

When in Paris, even former President Bill Clinton can apparently spare a little time for shopping – at Hermès.

A five-car convoy carrying the former president and a security detachment arrived out front of the luxury brand's landmark boutique on Monday at noon.

Clinton, 68, spent more than an hour on the shop's third floor section, where windows were closed after his arrival. The observer speculated: "He's up there, probably buying the store."

The luxury store sells ties for about $225; a leather belt can set you back nearly $1,000.

Can anyone doubt that this man feels the pain of the people whose lives he ruined?

Speaking to a crowd of a few hundred people in the state Capitol's rotunda, Clinton's later speech mirrored that of the one from Logan.

"I can hardly remember a time with so much promise and so much progress and yet people still are very worried," he said.

It's a lot more promising when you never have to count the money you're spending because you're part of a corrupt cartel that buys and sells influence like crack in a Baltimore back alley.
