Vicente Adolfo Solano is the latest Muslim convert to be busted in a domestic terror plot. This one involved following up on Harlem Suarez's (another Muslim terrorist in Florida defended by the media and the left) plot to bomb the Dolphin Mall.
Solano was going to plant a bomb in the food court of the Dolphin Mall on Black Friday.
The FBI cites a recording they said was created by Solano wearing all black and standing by an ISIS flag, in which he said, “The racist president who is a supremacist — white, who does not like Blacks, does not like the Chinese, he does not like the Muslims, he doesn’t like the Hispanics. He does not like anybody. They are indeed murderers, genocidists, invaders of this country who came to this country to kill all of the Indians. They abolished them, and now they’re telling us to get out of here. They are the ones who have to leave. (Expletive) that. In the name of Allah and our leader, Abu, we are going to defeat you.”
As for his motive, the FBI reports Solano expressed anger over foreign and domestic policies that made him feel excluded because of his temporary immigration status.
That last part is intriguing. I noted yesterday that this sounded like Solano was a TPSer. Today's stories claim he was from Honduras.
Honduras received temporary protected status after Hurricane Mitch in 1999. That was eighteen years ago.
The Trump administration has indicated that it wants to wind down TPS and Hondruas' deadline is coming up in January.
It's not confirmed that Solano was a TPSer, but it does sound like it. He had a criminal record, which should have disqualified him for TPS, but you know how well we screen for criminal aliens.
Solano sounds like he was deportable. He probably was considered a hurricane refugee and may have been an illegal alien. At this stage we don't know and the media isn't eager to discuss it.
And instead of being grateful, he joined ISIS.
No illegal alien amnesty goes unpunished.
