This is the NFL.
In the NFL, coaches will support you if you reject, ignore or mock the national anthem. But if you stand for it, you will be forced to apologize. Because the left comes ahead of America.
Alejandro Villanueva, an ex-Ranger who served in Afghanistan, made headlines when he stood for the anthem with his hand on his heart. Here's what he originally tweeted.
"It was an honor to serve two tours in Afghanistan. I stood out of respect for our military service members and because I love this country."
Now his Twitter account is gone. And there's an extensive apology, which I will spare you, that has a strong resemblance to the original Cultural Revolution back in China.
The obscene spectacle makes it very obvious that, once again, the left does not believe in free speech. It doesn't believe that players should have the right to express their views. It believes only that they have the right to express left-wing black nationalist views.
Any other views will be punished.
If you love this country, the NFL will force you to apologize for it.
