Sheila Jackson-Lee Confuses Sandy Hook with Superstorm Sandy

If there's anything that could make CNN's coverage of a natural disaster any worse it would be Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee.

CNN already got the wrong kind of viral video with survivors cursing at them. Then Sheila Jackson-Lee, who is a notorious camera hog to the extent that she will crowd the aisles for any president regardless of party, decided to show up. Unfortunately she didn't realize that her CNN phone op would be a problem because of the loudspeaker announcements.

If CNN or Jackson-Lee had spent time there, they would have realized that this would be happening. Instead the loudspeaker announcements not only break up a disastrous interview. They also reveal the hypocrisy of both CNN and Sheila Jackson-Lee.

But both Sheila Jackson-Lee and CNN are determined to make matters worse.

First, CNN decides that viewers will be too bored watching a chat with a Congresswoman in a disaster area and decides to fill the screen with video of the flooding while still chatting with Sheila Jackson-Lee. So there are two natural disasters on screen at the same time.

Then CNN, like the rest of the media, decides there's far too much heroism and what they really ought to be focusing on is why Texas legislators voted against some Sandy aid bills.

It's one thing to ask Ted Cruz that. Cruz actually knows what he's voting for. Sheila Jackson-Lee is lucky to know what day of the week it is on any given day. And so she starts repeating "Maximum" like it's a magic incantation, bashing Trump and referring to Superstorm Sandy as Sandy Hook.

Sandy Hook. Superstorm Sandy. Who can tell the difference anyway. Certainly not a Congresswoman who thinks we won the Vietnam War.

And CNN concludes another 2 minutes of its horrible coverage which is making America worse in every possible way.
