The swamp is overflowing. It's on the garden path. It's in the lawn. It's on the front stairs. It's in the foyer. It's certainly in Foggy Bottom.
The State Department hosted this month leaders from the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations, which represents a number of organizations including American Muslims for Palestine, or AMP, an organization that promotes "extreme anti-Israel views" and "anti-Zionist" propaganda, according to the Anti-Defamation League, which tracks anti-Israel hate groups.
Representatives from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, Islamic Circle of North America, and Muslim Ummah of North America also attended the meeting.
CAIR and ICNA are bad enough. But any possibility that AMP personnel were in attendance is truly extraordinary.
In April 2016, Jonathan Schanzer confirmed and expanded upon IPT's revelations when he reported that seven current AMP officials and/or affiliates were former members of groups that had been shut down or held civilly liable by the U.S. government for funneling money to Hamas.
For that matter, CAIR is an unindicted coconspirator.
Why is State inviting terror linked figures to chat?
According to the AMP press release...
Representatives of the US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), a coalition of leading national and local American Muslim organizations, met yesterday with State Department officials to discuss the ongoing Al-Aqsa Mosque crisis and Israel's denial of religious freedom in Jerusalem, which is holy to the three Abrahamic faiths.
So we've got terror front groups meeting with State Department officials to bash Israel.
“While we’re glad the security cameras and checkpoints were removed from outside Al Aqsa, Israel’s occupation is still firmly in place,” said Dr. Osama Abuirshaid, AMP national policy director and USCMO board member. “When we articulate our position to the State Department it informs them that there are thousands of Americans demanding a more fair and balanced foreign policy in the Middle East.
If State hosted Osama, that is a really serious problem.
AMP board member Osama Abu Irshaid has close affiliations to both the IAP and UASR. Abu Irshaid formerly served as editor of IAP's Arabic periodical, Al-Zaitounah, a mouthpiece for pro-Hamas propaganda. The magazine also published advertisementsby terrorist-tied charities, including HLF, the Global Relief Foundation (GRF), and the Benevolence International Foundation (BIF).
IAP was a Hamas front. GRF and BIF were fronts for Al Qaeda.
As part of this campaign, today the Treasury Department designated the Global Relief Foundation under the authority of Executive Order 13224. The Global Relief Foundation (GRF), has connections to, has provided support for, and has provided assistance to Usama Bin Ladin, the al Qaida Network, and other known terrorist groups.
So we've not only got Hamas, but a hop and a skip away from Al Qaeda.
“We wanted to convey to the State Department how deeply concerned we are about the incidents in Jerusalem and to make sure they understood the religious significance this site holds for American Muslims,” said Oussama Jammal, USCMO secretary general. “We were encouraged by the constructive dialogue at the State Department on these important issues.”
Meanwhile Americans are quite discouraged.by State's open door for terror fronts
Oussama Jammal is the vice president of the Mosque Foundation, where he was once the president. Two among the Mosque Foundation’s current leaders, Sheikh Jamal Said and Sheik Kifah Mustapha, were named as unindicted, coconspirators in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) Hamas financing trial in Texas, which concluded in late 2008 with a unanimous guilty verdict on 108 counts. Additionally, Jammal serves on the MAS National Executive Council; he is also the Executive Director for Illinois MAS Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE). The MAS presents itself as “a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization,” and “a dynamic charitable, religious, social, cultural, and educational, organization” with a mission “to move people to strive for God consciousness, liberty, and justice, and to convey Islam with utmost clarity.”
In fact, however, the MAS was established in 1993 by the Muslim Brotherhood “whose goal is the “introduction of the Islamic Shari`ah as the basis controlling the affairs of state and society.” The MAS also happens to be a founding member of the USCMO. Positive references to so-called ‘martyrdom operations’ have featured in the MAS magazine The American Muslim
This swamp really needs to be drained before it swallows America.
