Let's not jump to any conclusions, but Glenn Miller aka Malik Mohammad Ali's past time in the Marines didn't have much to do with shooting two police officers. His new identity change might have. And his racist tantrums.
But the media keeps emphasizing that he was a Marine.
Suspect in Kissimmee police shootings is former Marine, records show - CBS News
Accused cop killer was long-time Marine - WKMG Orlando
Marine Corps veteran accused of shooting 2 Kissimmee police officers was arrested at nearby bar - Orlando Sentinel
Why is the "Marine" part so newsworthy? Because it fits the media's political agenda, which is supportive of Islam and black nationalism. But quite hostile to the military. And so no doubt at some point this will be rolled into some fake study at some point showing that veterans have killed more people than Muslim terrorists. And the media will endlessly play it up.
Here's what the media isn't emphasizing.
Everett Glenn Miller changed his name to Malik Mohammad Ali, which is the name listed on Ali’s Facebook account. As seen on the Malik Mohammad Ali Facebook page, Malik has (Glenn Miller) in parenthesis in his Facebook header.
But that's not the conversation the media wants to have. Instead it would like to discuss PTSD and how dangerous veterans are. And how wonderful guys named Mohammed are.
