You couldn't pry the media out of their favorite new Jihadist mosque right now with the jaws of life, but while they spin their propaganda, the Islamic terror insurgency continues.
A known Islamic terrorist crashed his car into a police van on the Champs-Elysées. His car had a gas canister inside and caught fire. The terrorist died, but none of the gendarmes were hurt.
Members of the public were told to avoid the area after a driver crashed his Renault Megane into a van carrying gendarmes (French military police) at around 15:40. The driver's vehicle (seen in the picture below) then exploded into flames. Police say there was a gas canister inside the car.
"Security forces have been targeted in France once again," France's new Interior Minister Gerard Collomb said, calling the incident an "attempted attack".
The weapons and explosives found in the vehicle "could potentially blow this car up," he added.Police sources had previously said the driver was "unconscious on the ground". Police sources told AFP he was armed with a Kalashnikov, hand guns and gas bottles.
The Islamic terrorist was, as counter-terrorism expert Patrick Poole calls him, a "Known wolf".
A man previously known to French authorities for radicalism rammed his car into a bus full of police on the iconic Champs-Élysées in the heart of Paris this afternoon, making this yet another 'Known Wolf' terror attack.
This isn't the first time a Muslim terrorist in Europe has tried the gas canister attack. And it's not the first Muslim terror attack on law enforcement on the Champs-Elysées.
The terrorist drew up to a police car waiting at a red light and opened fire with a Kalashnikov rifle. One officer was killed. Two more were wounded. The attack occurred on the Champs-Elysees near the Franklin-Roosevelt station. The terrorist knew that this would be a good place to find police officers.
This attack appears to have been fairly similar right down to the location and the weapon.
The Islamic insurgency continues while the media and the politicians frantically try to ignore the hostile terror population in their midst. More of which continues to swarm into their countries every day.
