Hello America, you know how you missed Hillary. Well she's back now. And offering valuable insights into her own hypocrisy.
The nation's greatest compulsive liar sneers. "And then defending themselves by talking about “alternative facts.” Alternative facts like Hillary being named after Sir Edmund Hilary or coming under fire in Yugoslavia. Or learning about cattle futures from the Wall Street Journal. Or trying to join NASA and the Marines.
"As the history majors among you here today know all too well, when people in power invent their own facts and attack those who question them, it can mark the beginning of the end of a free society."
Like insisting that there's a vast right wing conspiracy that is responsible for inventing all their crimes. Or that they only lost the election because of an FBI-Russia conspiracy.
And debate is the end of a free society. Once you let people say contradictory things, Big Sister ends up losing the election and power.
After all, in the words of my predecessor in the Senate, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, everyone is entitled to his own opinion but not his own facts.
That would be why Hillary lost.
