Left's Harassment of Republicans Finally Paid Off in Montana

If you're in Los Angeles and want to earn some extra money (and have no ethics or morals) you grab a camera and go where you might conceivably run into a celebrity. Then you harass them. Yell racial slurs, use obscene language about their grandmother or daughter, attack their politics or generally make a nuisance of yourself. Then if they take a swing at you, you film the result and sell it to TMZ.

And the title will be "Celebrity X assaults innocent journalist".

We all know how that works. Usually it hasn't been directed at public officials. But that's what the "Resistance" is for. Here's what Republican members of Congresshave been experiencing from the left.

In the last few weeks alone, the FBI arrested a man threatening Rep. Martha McSally's (R-Ariz.) life, a woman pursued Rep. David Kustoff (R-Tenn.) in her car, and Rep. Tom Garrett (R-Va.) heightened security at a town hall event in response to death threats.

Rep. Tom MacArthur (R) faced pushback from a crowd when he began telling the story of his special-needs daughter who died at the age of 11.

“Shame!” people shouted. “We’ve heard this story.”

“This child in 11 years has shaped my life more than anybody. So if I talk about my daughter too much, well then so be it. But this is the one human being that has impacted my life more than anybody,” MacArthur said.

The FBI arrested a Tucson, Ariz. man for leaving three threatening messages on McSally’s congressional office voicemail, in which he allegedly said her days “were numbered” and threatened to shoot her.

In Tennessee, a woman angry over Kustoff’s vote for the GOP's healthcare bill this month pursued a car carrying him from an event at a local university. Kustoff and a staffer eventually turned into a driveway and came to a stop. Then the woman approached the car, yelled at Kustoff and struck the car’s windows, according to local reports.

Another person sent a message to Garrett’s campaign Facebook page with graphic details describing how they would kill Garrett.

This is how we're going to kill your wife."

That's the message Rep. Tom Garrett (R-Va.) said he received in a series of recent threats that targeted him, his family and even, at one point, his dog. And it's the reason, he said, that his town hall here in this sleepy Virginia community on Tuesday night was ringed by law enforcement.

"But when it's, 'I'm going to kill you this way. Then, 'I'm going to kill your wife. This is what I'm going to do to your daughters' ... Then you get a circumstance where there's an awful lot of security."

But that's the sort of thing you do when you're the #Resistance. This campaign has been orchestrated by the media which then steps back and reports on the results.

The goals of the the campaign are simple. When you harass someone enough they stop thinking clearly. They make mistakes. Sometimes they snap. And then the media does the TMZ thing. And it's "A reporter was bumped by a mean Congressman."

And mission accomplished. The left, which couldn't have won the election honestly, has it handed to them through harassment.

Ben Jacobs, a Bernie Sanders cheerleader working for the extreme radical left Guardian, got what he wanted from Gianforte. And Bernie's candidate will likely take Montana. When Gianforte said, "I'm sick of this", how much harassment had he been subjected to by the anti-American left? We'll never know. Just like you never know with TMZ. The product is the "snap" not the process.

That's the game here. The media is doing everything that it can to rig elections that its chosen candidates can't win democratically. We are slipping dangerously close to a media tyranny.

This is TMZ politics. Push enough buttons and Republican elected officials will either give in or snap. This isn't politics. It's political terrorism. We must recognize that and call it out for what it is.
