The pro-illegal lobby was warning that deporting illegal aliens would prevent abused women from coming forward. But now the pro-illegal lobby reveals that it's actually on the side of their abusers.
As the Trump administration’s war on “sanctuary cities” heats up, cities have come up with increasingly creative ways to fight back. The latest example comes from Denver, which just passed a law aimed at protecting legal immigrants from being deported for committing relatively petty crimes, those carrying sentences of 365 days or more — the federal government’s tripwire for kicking people out.
The city’s solution? Simply take a bunch of those relatively petty offenses and reduce the maximum penalty to less than 365 days.

It's okay. The fake feminists of the women's march approve.
So Denver is not just a sanctuary city for illegal aliens, but for illegal aliens who beat women. And eventually murder them. But that is what the left really is.
But just to warp the criminal justice system even further around the evil axis of political correctness, there's another twist.
The revised sentencing ordinance also will gain a hate-crime enhancement. City attorneys will be able to request a boost of lower-tier offenses to the top level if they’re shown to be motivated by race, religion or sexual orientation, among other attributes.
So domestic abuse gets a pass. But hate crimes are still embedded for intersectionality's sake. No doubt the illegal alien wife beaters of Denver thank Mayor Michael Hancock.
