Why did the Manchester Arena bombing by Muslim second-generation refugee terrorist Salman Abedi.happen? Please allow Greater Manchester Chief Constable Ian Hopkins to demonstrate.
"Can I start by once again passing on our heartfelt sympathies to all the innocent people caught up in last night's despicable act"
Despicable act. Not terrorism.
"We understand that feelings are very raw right now and people are bound to be looking for answers. However, now, more than ever, it is vital that our diverse communities in Greater Manchester stand together and do not tolerate hate."
Feelings do get raw when Britons must pull Muslims nails out of the bodies of their children.
One hopes that none of those dying in the latest Muslim terror attack experienced any feelings of Islamophobia in the process.
Those people with "raw feelings" should embrace the wonderful diversity of terrorist and non-terrorist communities that splashed blood across the Manchester Arena. "Hate" must not be tolerated. Hopkins means Islamophobia. But he can't even say that because this act of horrifying Muslim terrorism, like all the others, has nothing to do with Islam.
And you can expect those Britons who tell the truth about Islamic terrorism to be investigated long before those Muslim settlers in the UK who cheered the attack.
"The force had warned news organisations that naming any possibly suspect could hamper the ongoing investigation into Monday night’s atrocity."
Oh yes. It's the "investigation" not the cover-up that they're concerned with. Here are Hopkins' priorities.
Greater Manchester Police’s Chief Constable has blasted a national newspaper after Rochdale was dubbed a ‘sex grooming town’ following the death of a former imam.
Ian Hopkins has written an open letter to the editor of The Times after an ‘appalling’ headline in the wake of Jalal Uddin’s death.
The news outfit published the headline: “Imam beaten to death in sex grooming town.”
Chief Con Hopkins has urged the paper to apologise, claiming the headline could have caused ‘community tension’.
Now more than ever, it is vital that our diverse terrorist and sex grooming communities stand together. Hate will not be tolerated. Truth will not be tolerated.
Thanks to Khizra Mosque, Bury for hosting @gmpolice new officers today to explain issues affecting Muslims. Good to promote #IAM2016 too. pic.twitter.com/pI4wZTuFZI
