What a difference six months makes.
The left's Comey outrage is comedy gold. Some Dems, like Rep. Maxine Waters, have no qualms about still saying that Hillary should have fired Comey. But for the average Dem who has some self-awareness all those past calls to fire Comey are... problematic.
Here's how Rep. Nadler handled it on CNN.
Here was Nadler in November insisting, "The president ought to fire Comey immediately."
His current position? "Yes, I thought then and I think now that what he did last year was very wrong, but that was last year,"
What a difference six months makes.
Meanwhile Nadler has a statement out declaring that, "“The firing of FBI Director Comey by President Trump is a terrifying signal of this Administration’s continued abuse of power on so many levels."
On so many levels indeed.
