Socialism works. Just look at Venezuela which ran out of toilet paper, can't afford to print its own currency, has milk rationing and has gone from energy exporter to electricity shortages. Which its insane leftist president either blames on the CIA, a vast conspiracy against him or women using hair dryers.
The appeal for women to go for the natural look was made by Nicolas Maduro, Venezuela's president, as the country struggles to cope with constant electricity shortages.
"I always think a woman looks better when she just runs her fingers through her hair and lets it dry naturally. It's just an idea I have," said Maduro.
Maduro should stop having ideas. They're all bad ones. But this is what happens when you put a Socialist bus driver in charge of a country.
Good thing Bernie Sanders doesn't need a hair dryer anyway. It's good preparation for Socialism.
The reaction on social media to the hair dryer plan was immediate, with one Twitter user saying: "Don't dry for me, Venezuela" and several others mentioning that every day was a bad hair day in the country.
I'm sure they're being rounded up as we speak. And that Chavez's wealthy daughters aren't having hair dryer problems.
But which phase of the Bolivarian Revolution is it when there's no electricity, milk or toilet paper? Someone should dig up Chavez and ask him.
