A Huma Abedin book that really told all might be worth the $2 mil. But this is no more going to be a Tell All book than anything Hillary wrote was. Instead the odds are excellent that it will be a glossy ghostwritten story that glosses over all the important things, but instead concentrates on dazzling its Hillary target base with glamorous exotic and national locations.
Huma Abedin has a fashion obsession. And she projects a shallow glossy outer surface. Whatever secrets are there will remain buried. Unless Weiner puts them on his laptop.
Huma Abedin, a former top adviser to Hillary Clinton and the estranged wife of former Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner (N.Y.), has reportedly been meeting with literary agents about writing a book, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Thursday report says Abedin's book, which would likely touch on her husband's sexting scandal and her role in Clinton's unsuccessful presidential bid, "is envisioned as a reflection on how her personal and professional lives collided during the campaign."
The 40-year-old Abedin is said to be seeking as much as $2 million for the book, which Clinton has reportedly approved.
That tells you how little the book will tell. But it certainly is nice of Hillary to keep employing Huma and handing her book deals after she cost her the presidency. A real tell all book might tell why.
What will the book actually tell? If Huma is back together with Weiner, expect the same shallow "we're trying to work it out" magazine profiles that were running before his mayoral bid. Expect nothing about the Islamist ties except how she suffered the slings and arrows of Islamophobia. And sexism. And racism. But has really great outfits.
There. I saved whichever Hillary-linked corp gives her a book deal (probably S and S) a whole $2 mil. No need to thank me.
