Dems Come Out of Closet With Love for Corporations

Coming out of the closet as gay is passe. Instead more Democrats are coming out of the closet as in love with corporations. Especially their money.

Party officials held a vote on whether to accept donations from corporate political action committees. The debate was not conducted in the backroom, but in front of C-SPAN cameras. And Democrats, loudly and proudly, chose to accept corporate cash.

On the floor, California’s Bob Mulholland, after conceding, “I’m not a member of Mother Teresa’s sisters’ organization. I am a member of the Democratic Party” swam against the populist tide: “All those corporations in North Carolina, who stood up for the Democratic Party platform against the law there to try to outlaw or discriminate against transgender [people], why should the Democratic Party say now, ‘Hey, great what you did, but we’re not gonna take your contributions?’”

4 legs good, 2 legs better.

There should be some kind of parade. A "We love cash from progressive corporations that lobby for transgender bathrooms" parade that would bring together progressives and the corporations they love.

Why must their shameful love hide in the closet? Let progressives fly their freak flag loud and proud. Let them declare, "We're not afraid to say that we love corporations as long as they give us money and demand that men be allowed to use the ladies room."

A love like this is too deep to be hidden. Every Democrat should be able to come out of the closet and gyrate on a parade float with the corporation of his choice.
