Lying Bernie Sanders Calls President Trump a Liar

Notorious liar Bernie Sanders called President Trump a liar. Then he whined about being called out for it.

What should a United States senator, or any citizen, do if the president is a liar? Does ignoring this reality benefit the American people? Do we make a bad situation worse by disrespecting the president of the United States? Or do we have an obligation to say that he is a liar to protect America’s standing in the world and people’s trust in our institutions?

Since Bernie Sanders didn't win the primaries, let alone the election, the question isn't worth worrying about.

However, as a Senator, Bernie Sanders' compulsive dishonesty does remain a serious problem. There's the time that Bernie Sanders claimed that he had been invited to the Vatican, when he really invited himself. Or the time he lied and accused Israel of killing 10,000 innocent people in a brief conflict that had a fraction as many casualties.

Then his spokesman lied about his lie. And at J Street, Bernie Sanders lied about Iran's nuclear program. He lied and claimed that Verizon doesn't pay any taxes.

Basically Bernie Sanders lies a whole lot. Ignoring this reality doesn't benefit the people of Vermont. We have an obligation to protect Vermont's standing by calling Bernie a liar.
