Keith Olbermann, heroic leader of the GQ #Resistance, and the guy Aaron Sorkin occasionally wishes he was, has endured a great deal of suffering in his privileged life.

"I got beat up by girls all the time,” says Olbermann. “They literally posted a sign-up sheet and would take turns. I think that’s why I’ve always been such a fan of Mencken’s line, ‘Afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted.’ I’ve been afflicted.”

Graduating at 16, Olbermann shipped off to Cornell as the school’s youngest freshman. It wasn’t much fun. His parents went to extreme lengths to make his dorm room the only one in Ithaca with cable TV. Between tearful calls home, Olbermann sat alone and watched the tube. “Thank God for Monty Python’s Flying Circus,” says Olbermann. “Or I might not have made it.”

Keith Olbermann, amateur psychiatrist, has also declared that President Trump is crazy and must resign.

Olbermann: Trump 'not of sound mind,' must resign

“It's time for Donald Trump to resign as president," Olbermann said on "The Resistance," an online GQ video series. "Admittedly, it's been an interesting couple of days. But for any patriotic American capable of adding two and two and not getting one-and-a-half million, this is enough."

"This man is not of sound mind," Olbermann added, cautioning that Trump remaining in office could mean "the end of civilization."

Olbermann also had repeatedly called for President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney to resign while hosting his MSNBC program, "Countdown."

I suspect that the only actual resignation was of Olbermann's psychiatrist. These Tweets strongly suggest that Keith Olbermann is not of sound mind and must resign from the #Resistance.

Keith Olbermann seems to spend his time "Resisting" Trump by tweeting angrily at him and making vlogs. So far Trump has remained in office and Keith Olbermann has remained in a state of uncontrollable rage followed by marathon sessions of gulping expired cans of Zima. Keith needs help. It's time for him to resign and let someone more qualified, like Dave Zirin or Steve McPherson lead the #Resistance.
