It never fails. The companies most offended by religious freedom laws. Or male-female bathrooms. Are universally sleazy enterprises. Like the NBA. Or PayPal. PayPal will pull out of Charlotte because it is very offended by men and women using separate bathrooms. (What do PayPal's corporate office toilets look like?) What PayPal isn't offended by is facilitating fraud. But then again that is its business model.
PayPal recently lost one class action lawsuit, Zepeda vs. PayPal. So it responded by banning class action lawsuits in its terms of service. Despite that it's being hit with yet another class action lawsuit. This time for effectively enabling fraud for reasons that eBay sellers are likely to be quite familiar with.
But PayPal has no problems with fraud. The sleazy company however is very offended by democracy and separate gender bathrooms. But then sleazy companies usually are.
