The media is none too happy with this poll. So they are doing their best to bury it.
It's a Morning Consult - Politico poll and the MC headline is "Trump’s Approval Rating Slides Despite Support for Travel Ban". Because you've got to find the negative in there. Politico buries the lead and goes right to."Poll: Democrats want leaders to block Trump".
Because that's the shocking unexpected breaking news story there.
But support for the travel pause is at 55 to 33 among voters. That's despite a barrage of hysterical opposition from the media. You can see why the media is none too happy. Aside from the ideological opposition to keeping terrorists out of America (planting bombs in malls is another job that the left won't do, so it needs to bring in foreigners to terrorize Americans while it acts as their political section), it rather suggests that the media is hopeless impotent.
Indy support is at 54 to 37. Around a third of Dems support it. A majority are opposed.
Strong approval is highest among Republican women. Strong disapproval is highest among Dem women. Support is slightly here among African-Americans than the Dem average. It's slightly lower among Jews than the Dem average.
And here's where it gets interesting.
Hispanic support is at 55 to 41 percent.
The opposition is higher than among average voters. But the level of support is the same.
This ought to make Dems rightly nervous.
And if you want a snapshot of the urban - rural divide. Support/opposition is at 51 to 42 percent in urban areas. It's at 61 to 29 percent in rural areas.
The left is very blatantly losing the argument in favor of bringing terrorists to this country. They've spent a week throwing everything they have and this is how poor their numbers are.
