Reds of a feather stick together.
Not only is the media outraged by President Trump's criticism of the illegal and unconstitutional attack on his common immigration security reforms by Judge Robart, a corporate lawyer turned judicial activist who endorsed a racist hate group from the bench in a previous controversial decision, but so is a Chinese Communist judge.
A top Chinese judge has branded Donald Trump an "enemy of the rule of law" for his disparaging remarks about a US federal judge who suspended his travel ban.
In a blog post, dated Sunday, Judge He Fan who serves at the Supreme People's Court of China, blasted Mr Trump for "insulting" Mr Robart.
He wrote that under the American system's separation of powers, a president who is dealt a judicial defeat should bear the loss silently, rather than lash out at the judge in question.
He said Mr Trump had set a poor example and lost respect for having "led the way in insulting a judge, with the Vice President and his political party swarming to his defence (and) in a country known as the most democratic and most respectful of the rule of law".
This is coming from the most democratic People's Republic of China with its one-party state. Furthermore, if the leadership disliked Judge He Fan, they wouldn't tweet about him, they would dispose of him.
The President of the Supreme People's Court of China is a Communist party boss. Here's a message from Fan's boss about the separation of powers.
[China's courts] must firmly resist the western idea of “constitutional democracy”, “separation of powers” and “judicial independence”. These are erroneous western notions that threaten the leadership of the ruling Communist Party and defame the Chinese socialist path on the rule of law. We have to raise our flag and show our sword to struggle against such thoughts. We must not fall into the trap of western thoughts and judicial independence. We must stay firm on the Chinese socialist path on the rule of law.
Our own judiciary is struggling to keep on the socialist path. Activist judges like Robart replace the Constitution with their own whim. And any judge who isn't an originalist, is an unelected dictator. Much like the ruling class in Communist China. Every effort must be made to maintain America's separation of powers, but all three branches must be governed by the Constitution.
Rogue activists like Robart who put their own whims and agendas ahead of the Constitution are a threat to our constitutional democracy.
