Don't make room for Keith X. Ellison.
The racist who had been a member of the Nation of Islam hate group for as much as eleven years and a big fan of Louie Farrakhan will be joining all the cool prog kids in boycotting Trump's inauguration.
Why?
"I will not celebrate a man who preaches a politics of division and hate. I won't be attending Donald Trump's inauguration," the left-wing pol accused of anti-Semitism tweeted.
That's a change.
Keith Ellison spent a big part of his life as a big fan of a man who literally preached division and hate. His affinity for the Islamists at CAIR suggests that he's still big on division and hate. And his boycott is itself divisive. As is his attempt to reply to accusations of anti-Semitism by mobilizing divisive and hateful anti-Israel figures like Jill Jacobs and Sharon Brous.
Ellison is a divisive and hateful figure. The inauguration will be better off without him.
