Kerry Calls for Securing Borders and Welcoming Migrants

Another reminder that calls to secure the border by amnesty supporters are meaningless contradictory noise. And no one does meaningless contradictory noise quite like John Kerry. That is what qualified him to be Secretary of State where he spent a great deal of time emitting meaningless contradictory noises leading to the situation in Syria. Here's his latest bout of meaningless contradictory noises.

Americans must redouble efforts to fight xenophobia and make sure that all migrants are treated with dignity and respect, Secretary of State John Kerry said Sunday in marking International Migrants Day.

By the way, note how we're no longer talking about immigrants, but migrants.

The Dems have put aside all pretense that they're not champions of illegal migration and open borders. Or almost all pretense.

"In the face of heated rhetoric that can distort the debate about migration, we must redouble our efforts to dispel unfounded fears, fight xenophobia, secure our borders, uphold our immigration laws, and ensure all migrants are treated with dignity and that their human rights are respected," Kerry said in a statement.

"We are proud to live in a nation that has offered unparalleled freedom and opportunity to migrants, and reaffirm our commitment to assisting those who are most in need of protection and aid," he said.

If we secure our border and enforce our immigration laws, then the migrants stop coming. Kerry wants that as much as he wants his wife to dump him for a 20-year-old surfer.

Kerry also called migrants' contributions to the U.S. "striking."

"Migrants to the United States take risks, work hard, invest and innovate. They make our culture more vibrant and our nation stronger," he said.

Can we replace Kerry with a migrant worker? I hear they're willing to work harder for less money and they innovate and take risks. I bet they could do a better job than John Kerry.
