Getting an endorsement from Harry Reid is like catching the bubonic plague in a department store. But Keith X. Ellison, the Islamist racist, is picking up endorsements from all the right wrong people or all the wrong right people. The latest is an endorsement from Harry Reid. The one thing that can be said for certain is that Harry Reid and Keith Ellison go together like toxic and waste.

Democratic Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid has joined some other party leaders in throwing his support behind Rep. Keith Ellison to become the new chair of the Democratic National Committee, saying the Minnesota congressman would bring "new thinking and a fresh start."

"My friend Keith Ellison is a terrific leader and a strong progressive who knows how to get things done. Now is the time for new thinking and a fresh start at the DNC. Now is the time for Keith," Reid said in a statement issued by his communications director.

New thinking.

How about renaming the Democratic National Committee as the Democratic National Caliphate. Harry Reid can grow a long beard, wear a headdress and issue fatwas on the importance of getting his kids money.

But considering that the Dems chose a Nation of Islam hate march organizer for president, why not another Nation of Islam racist for DNC Chair?

As a third-year law student in 1989-90, Ellison penned two columns for the Minnesota Daily under the name “Keith Hakim.” In the first piece, he made respectful reference to “Minister Louis Farrakhan,” defended the incendiary Nation of Islam (NOI) spokesman and black supremacist Khalid Abdul Muhammad, and, as The Weekly Standard reports, spoke “in the voice of a Nation of Islam advocate.” In the second piece, Ellison demanded reparations for slavery and said that African Americans should be offered the option of settling in an all-black, geographically self-contained “homeland” if they wished to do so. In February 1990, Ellison participated in sponsoring Kwame Ture (a.k.a. Stokely Carmichael) to speak at his law school on the subject, “Zionism: Imperialism, White Supremacy, or Both?”—a speech that proved to be deeply anti-Semitic.

I can't wait until the DNC platform includes a call for a racially segregated homeland.
