FARC, the left-wing terror group, has racked up a huge death toll. Including Americans. It has kidnapped and raped. It makes use of child soldiers. It leaders, whom the disastrous failed peace deal would have given a permanent legislative presence, are monsters.
They're also loved by the left.
So the media went into hysterical wailing when the Colombian people rejected the FARC deal. And then sank down from there. This is the New York Times headline.

It couldn't be that the Colombian people would have rejected a deal that rewards a ruthless terror group on its own merits. No it's because they're homophobes. Also probably racists and sexists.
The media has become an absurd joke. Their news stories are full of the same lunacy as dispatches from Pravda or frenzied propaganda from North Korea. They are obsessed with the ideologically correct position to the extent or distorting reality and churning out utter nonsense.
